Haskapa Hot Smoked Sauce

Ingredients: 

2 cups Haskapa juice
1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper, seedless
2 tbsps Chopped Smoked Chipolte Peppers
1 cup Roasted Red Pepper Purée
½ cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
3 tbsps Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Minced Garlic
4 tbsps Minced Onion
2 tbsps Fresh Rosemary
½ tsp Salt

Method: 

  • Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
  • Once boiling, reduce temperature and allowed it to cook for 20 minutes on low heat
  • Purée in a blender and allow it to cool
