March is here!
So sweet and delicious, every March, the sap starts flowing in sugar bushes all across the province as maple producers tap trees and begin the magical process of turning maple sap into syrup, maple butter, maple sugar and more. If you’ve never visited a sugar bush, March is your chance to get out and experience a piece of this local tradition. Many producers like Sugar Moon Farm in Earltown and Acadian Maple Products in Tantallon open their operations to the public. And did we mention there’s food? Some operations offer up delicious pancake brunches throughout the season! For more great maple stuff including a delicious list of upcoming pancake breakfasts, brunches and maple celebrations around the province check out the Maple Producers of Nova Scotia.
