Aspen Grove Farm raises three breeds of registered heritage sheep.

  • Lincoln, a longwool breed from England raised primarily for their wool.
  • Romeny, also English longwool, prized for both meat and wool.
  • Texel, a breed from the Netherlands, used as crosses with other breeds to improve meat characteristics.

The Wool Room is our Farm Shop.  In addition to our own fleece, yarn and woolens we sell Lunenburg County handspun, knitted woolens and other locally sourced products.  Our "bulk" natural and dyed locks, rovings and batts are very popular with needle felters.
