3 lb (1.25kg) winter squash
3 Tbsp (45mL) butter
1/3 cup (75mL) pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp. (2mL) salt
- Preheat oven to 350º F(180ºC).
- Wash exterior of squash and cut squash in half. (Do not remove the skin).
- Bake until tender.
- Scoop out the pulp. Add butter, salt and maple syrup. Beat well and place in a greased casserole dish.
- Bake at 350º F(180ºC) for 40-45 minutes.
