1 lb (500g) Ground Nova Scotia lamb
1 Egg
2-4 tbsp (30-60ml) Dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp (30ml) Mild or hot curry paste
¼ tsp (1ml) Salt
½ tsp (2ml) Pepper
Grilled zucchini slices
Nova Scotia Gouda cheese


Mix first six ingredients (lamb, egg, dry bread crumbs, curry paste, salt, pepper). Form 4 patties and grill on barbeque until well done (170 degrees F/ 77 degrees C). Serve on buns with local gouda cheese and grilled zucchini.


Cooking Tip

Instead of pressing the ingredients into a patty, roll them into balls and bake on wax paper in a pan to create savoury meatballs. They’re a great addition to any spaghetti dish!
