Nova Scotia Wild Blueberry Crisp

3-4 cups (700 – 1000 mL) Wild Blueberries (frozen or fresh)
1/3 cup (75 ml) butter
1 ¼ cups (300 mL) lightly packed brown sugar (or less if preferred)
1/3 cup (75 mL) all purpose flour
2/3 cup (150 mL) rolled oats
¼ tsp (1 mL) cinnamon


Preheat oven to 375 ° F / 190° C and grease an 8x8 inch square baking dish. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Then add flour, rolled oats and cinnamon until mixture is crumbly.


Arrange wild blueberries in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with crumb mixture.Bake in preheated 375° F/ 190° C oven for 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
