2 cups (500mL)crushed strawberries
4 cups (1 L) sugar
1 pkg. (57 g) powdered fruit pectin
3/4 cup((175mL) water
- Combine berries with sugar in bowl; mix well; let stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine pectin and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Add to fruit mixture, stirring constantly for three minutes. Pour into sterilized jars, (LEAVE HEADSPACE for expansion) seal and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Store in freezer.
